Mission FFA lamb exhibitors had a successful showing at the Rio Grande Valley (RGV) FFA District Livestock Show, held recently. Kayla Mora has the champion south down lamb. Itzel Lopez had the reserve champion south down lamb. Ashley Dewitt was awarded champion fine wool lamb. Victor Solis earned reserve champion fine wool lamb. Jose Calderon won the reserve champion fine wool cross lamb. Johanna Jimenez received second place fine wool cross lamb. Alyssa Flores received third place fine wool cross lamb.
Other top place finishers from the Mission FFA Chapter at the RGV FFA District Livestock show included: Michelle Flores, eighth place medium wool lamb; Rolando Hinojosa, fourth place goat; Jody Sifuentes, tenth place light cross pig.
