The Mission High School (MHS) Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter will be sending 18 students to compete at the Texas State Leadership Conference to be held in Corpus Christi, Texas in March. They qualified, based on their performance at the recent FBLA Area 4 competitions.
Three students qualified for the state Accounting 1 competition. They are: Diana del Moral, Daniel Garcia, Javier Nevarez.
Three students qualified in the Computer Problem Solving contest. They are: Joseph Esquivel, Carlos Nava, Mario Salinas.
Three students also qualified in the area of Word Processing. They are: Alexia Puente, Artie Anzaldua, Cristina Leal.
Two students qualified for the Business Procedures competition at state. They are Eri Longoria and Francis Cisneros.
Other individuals who qualified for state are: Andy Garcia, Accounting 2; Julio Perez, Business Law; Yvette Cazares, Business Math; Jonathan Gonzalez, Health Care Administration; Adolfo Lopez, Impromptu Speaking; Angelica Davila, Personal Finance; Violeta Rivera, Public Speaking 2.
