MHS student is first to sign with LCC softball program

                Gabrielle “Gabby” Castillo, a four-year varsity standout pitcher for the Mission High School (MHS) Lady Eagles Softball Team became the first official team member signed to play for the Laredo Community College (LCC) Lady Palominos. Castillo signed a letter of intent this afternoon. LCC is just beginning its softball program, and Castillo is their first recruit as they build a team to compete in the Region 14 Athletic Conference under the National Junior College Athletic Association.
