MHS FBLA students qualify for national competitions

                Some high school students spent part of their spring break in Corpus Christi. It was not for fun and sun. It was to compete at the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) State Leadership Conference. Two FBLA members from Mission High School (MHS)are advancing to the FBLA National Leadership Conference to be held in Nashville, TN in late June.

                Andy Garcia placed first in Accounting II at the state conference. While Diana de Moral placed second in Accounting I at the state competition. Both students are now advancing to nationals.

                Eri Longoria was also recognized at the state competition for placing fifth in Business Procedures. He will serve as an alternate for the national conference.

                Sponsors, Ramiro O’Cana and Gloria Gonzalez were also recognized for their service to FBLA; 34 years and 24 years, respectively.
