The Veterans Memorial High School (VMHS) Junior Varsity Women’s Choir, Men’s Varsity Choir and Varsity Women’s Choir recently competed in the UIL Choral Concert and Sight Reading competitions. The JV choir earned a division two (excellent) rating in concert and a division one (superior) rating in sight reading. The two varsity choirs earned division1 (superior) ratings from the three concert judges as well as the three sight reading judges. This also resulted in the two varsity groups earning sweepstakes awards for the second year in a row.
