Many Mission CISD schools have taken some time to honor and involve their student’s grandparents this week as a part of Grandparents Day. The activities have been varied. At Waitz Elementary School, the grandparents were made a part of a literacy event. Students invited their grandparents to come read with them in the library. The students also made cards for their grandparents. The pictures are from Waitz Elementary School.
