Some students at Mission High School (MHS) have taken advantage of a few free minutes during class and some time at home to send some get well wishes to a six-year old who is battling inoperable brain tumors. The students were the ones who learned of Danny Nickerson online.
Fourteen students in Crystal Garcia’s Biology class wanted to make Nickerson some get well cards and mail them to him.
Pictured are some of the students, along with the MHS Eagle mascot before they packaged their homemade well wishes for shipping.

The students now plan to reach out to a patient here in the Rio Grande Valley in a similar fashion.
