RCJH shares holiday cheer at Edinburg Children’s Hospital

While Mission CISD (Consolidated Independent School District) schools were closed for the recent holidays, members of the R. Cantu Jr. High School student council were busy spreading some holiday cheer at the Edinburg Children’s Hospital.

The council members visited the children’s hospital just before Christmas to deliver toys from their campus-based toy drive. Not only did the RCJH students deliver toys, they spent time with patients in the main play room. For patients too sick to go to the play room, students delivered toys to their rooms and even got to deliver toys to children in the Emergency Room.

Student council members indicated the experience was very enlightening and fulfilling.
