Mission CISD (Consolidated Independent School District) officials would like to remind parents and the community that Mission CISD schools and offices will be closed on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday, January 19. Classes and regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, January 20.
This date had also been set on the district calendar as a designated bad weather day. If school had been cancelled during the first semester, January 19th would have been used to make up the lost day.
