Mission FFA student projects show well at RGV event

                Mission FFA students attained outstanding results at this year’s Rio Grande Valley FFA District Livestock Show. Jody Sifuentes had the grand champion market lamb. Nelida Garza had the champion fine wool lamb. Reserve champion fine wool cross lamb went to Amanda Granados. The champion senior showman was April Cerda.

                Other top place finishers from the Mission FFA Chapter included: Kayla Mora, second place south down lamb; Rebekah Nolan, third place south down lamb; April Cerda, third place medium wool lamb; Julian Vela, sixth place market goat; Alan Hinojosa, seventh place medium wool lamb; Justin Cerda, eighth place medium wool lamb.

                Mission FFA Chapter advisors are: Clarissa Saenz, Marcos Villarreal, Benito Garza.
