MHS FBLA students advance to state competitions

                Mission, Texas- The Mission High School (MHS) Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter is sending 16 students to the Texas FBLA State Competitive Events to be held in San Antonio, Texas in early March. The students are advancing to the state competitions based upon their performance at the recent FBLA Area 4 competitions.

                The students advancing are: Yvette Cazares, business procedures, first place; Javier Nevarez, accounting II, first place; Eri Longoria, business law, first place; Jasmin Vega, database design and applications, first place; Alexia Puente, desktop publishing, first place; Violet Rivera, economics, first place; Joseph Esquivel, business communication, second place; Carlos Nava, networking concepts, second place; Francis Cisneros, insurance and risk management, third place; Jonathan Gonzalez, securities and investments, third place; Juan Castaneda, business communication, fourth place; Yvette Cazares, accounting I, fifth place; Luis Gonzalez, business calculations, fifth place; Mario Salinas, business communication, fifth place; Artie Anzaldua, insurance and risk management, fifth place; Adolfo Lopez, word processing, fifth place.
