Mission, Texas- Mission CISD (Consolidated Independent School District) officials would like to reassure parents that Blue Bell ice cream products are not being served in its schools.
The Mission CISD Child Nutrition Program continually monitors any food safety issues like this, and acts in as proactive manner as is possible, to help ensure the quality of the meals and ingredients used in their preparation.
Since Blue Bell Creameries has recently expanded its recall to include all its products. District officials are working on returning any products currently in stock and will receive credit for the returned items.
