Wednesday, May 6 is National School Nurse's Day. It also marks the beginning of National Nurse's Week.
Our school nurses play a major role in the education of our children since a healthy child is better equipped to learn. Their jobs go way beyond health screenings, checking immunization records, providing first aid, etc.
