Mission, Texas- The Veterans Memorial High School (VMHS) student council has earned the Sweepstakes Award and recognition by the Texas Association of Student councils for the second year in a row. The award recognizes work by the student councils and student bodies in the areas of pride and patriotism; drug, safety, and health; energy and environment; and community service.
