Mission, Texas- Members of the Veterans Memorial High School (VMHS) choir recently competed at the UIL Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest. Each of the 11 students, who competed, returned home with medals for their solo performances.
Earning Division 1 gold medals are: Vanessa Cano, Juan Trinidad Lara, Ana Karen Martinez.
Earning Division 2 silver medals: Ashley Alaniz, Maria Almendarez, Alexis Barrientes, Karina Romero-Gutierrez, Dara San Martin, Rachel Walzer, Darius Davis, Brian Mueller.
