Four Mission CISD high school baseball players have been selected to the Rio Grande Valley All-Star West Team. They are: Eddie Tamez, Mission High School (MHS); Ruben Cavazos, Veterans Memorial High School (VMHS); Edward Pena, VMHS; David de los Santos, VMHS.
VMHS head coach, Casey Smith was also selected as one of the coaches for the west team.
The All-Star game will be held on June 27, at the La Joya Baseball Complex at 6:00 p.m.
