Late registration and new student registration

 

                Mission, Texas- Registration days for Mission CISD (Consolidated Independent School District) schools will be for anyone who has not already completed their online registration, or for new students to the district.

                Registration will be held on August 5 and 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., at each Mission CISD school. Students and parents should go to their child’s school for the registration. Late registration will also be available during the district’s Back to School Bash, August 7, 6:00-8:00 p.m., Veterans Memorial High School Gym.

                These registration events are only for students who have not completed their online registration and for students who are new to Mission CISD.

                At registration, students must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or family member over the age of 21 for the registration of students through eighth grade.

                Proper dress and appearance will be required of all secondary students for registration. Items requested for the registration of all students includes: immunization records, verification of Social Security number (if possible), proof of residence within the district.

                In addition to the items listed above, a birth certificate will be required to register for kindergarten, if the student is new to the district. A birth certificate will also be required to register pre-kinder students. Pre-K is offered at each Mission CISD school as a full-day program for all who meet the age requirements, district residency requirements, and immunization requirements. Language and income are not considered for entry into the Mission CISD Pre-K program.

                Items requested for registration of new students (beyond those listed above) are: up-to-date transcript, state test scores, and records from the previous school. Junior high and high school typically charge a small fee for ID cards.
