Mission, Texas- Veterans Memorial High School (VMHS) cosmetology student, Cynthia Gonzalez returned from the SkillsUSA national nail care competitions with third place honors. The competition was held in Louisville, Kentucky. Gonzalez advanced to the national competition after placing first in the state competition which consisted of an interview, a skills test in nail enhancements and nail art, a written exam, and an oral presentation.
