The Mission CISD Child Nutrition Program took some special guests with them to the Region One Education Service Center School Nutrition Product Expo at South Padre Island. Twenty-five student representatives from our three high schools were invited to attend the expo. The students attended special group activities, and participated in the food product expo. They got to taste-test over 100 different items that may become available to the district in the near future for possible inclusion in school meals. The student input is used in determining what products are considered.
