United against bullying

Orange was a popular color on October 21. This was national Unity Day. It is observed to show unity against bullying. Many of our schools encouraged students to wear special orange t-shirts or anything orange as a symbol. This was also accompanied by guest speakers and lessons about bullying and what students can do to help prevent it.

Pictured is a class from Mission Jr. High School. Students at MJH are being encouraged to wear their orange each Wednesday through the rest of the school year.

Also pictured are students from Pearson Elementary School and O'Grady Elementary School.
