Crews have started the process of relocating several portable classroom buildings that used to house Mission Collegiate High School. These buildings are located closest to the old visitor parking area at Mission High School (MHS). These buildings will be moving to an area near other portable buildings at one end of the soccer practice fields. When the time comes, these will be used by Mission High School during some of the construction that will be taking place at the campus next year.
Officials hope to begin the long-awaited construction project at MHS that will dramatically transform the campus in a few months. The centerpiece of the project will be a new, two-story building that will fill much of the campus center.
Before the actual construction can begin, smaller projects like this move and resetting of portable classroom buildings have to be completed. During this time, final reviews of construction documents, etc. are taking place.
