Mission, Texas- Two students from Mission High School are advancing to the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Area auditions for the TMEA All-State Choir. Oscar Salinas (pictured left) and Frankie Chaires (pictured right) competed this past weekend in the TMEA Pre-Area auditions. Chaires earned second chair and Salinas earned third chair in the most recent audition process toward All-State.
The TMEA All-State Choir auditions will be held in January at Rockport-Fulton High School. The TMEA All-State Choirs are considered the highest level achievement for choir students in Texas.
