Mission, Texas- Six students from Mission Jr. High School recently completed and qualified for spots in the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Region 15 Middle School All-Region Band.
The students are (left to right): Ryan Vick, baritone; Rodrigo Flores, trombone; Ariana Gonzalez, flute; Laura Barba, flute; Julio Villarreal, trumpet; Damian Gonzalez, baritone.
They were selected to perform as a part of the All-Region Band based on rigorous auditions. They are judged on three pieces of work. They are judged on preparation, accuracy, and musical expression.
The students performed as a part of the All-Region Band on December 12, during a free concert.
