Mission, Texas- Veterans Memorial High School (VMHS) Agricultural Science students recently competed in a Rio Grande Valley welding competition held at South Texas College. The students tested their skills in arc welding and oxy/acetylene cutting metal techniques that are based on schematic designs for a construction project.
The senior team placed second at the competition, while the junior team placed third.
