Much needed space

The district recently held the official ribbon cutting, for an expansion project at the Child Nutrition Program Central Kitchen facility. District growth, and the growing requirements for fresh fruits and vegetables resulted in the need for more freezer space, more refrigerated storage space, and more dry storage space for the building. The additions made to the Central Kitchen doubled what they had. This will also give them back some of their production space that had been taken up by storage needs. The project was paid for through the Child Nutrition Program funds.
