Mission, Texas- The personal collection of books owned by students at O’Grady Elementary School recently grew. The Palm Valley Retired Association of School Personnel recently donated 500 books to the students of the school. Students at the school had the opportunity to take home a book of their choice from the donated items. The association of retired school personnel collects books as a part of its initiative to make sure all students have their own personal book collection. This ties in with part of the Mission CISD Read to Lead initiative that strives to help students build a home library of books they can read, re-read, and share with siblings.
