Mission, Texas- Mission CISD (Consolidated Independent School District) continues to work with the Boys and Girls Club of Mission in a partnership promoting physical activities. One of the latest is a flag football tournament for elementary students. For this tournament, the district was divided into two sides (east and west).
In the east side division, Salinas Elementary School took the championship. Alton Elementary School took second place. In the silver championship game, Mims Elementary School beat Bryan Elementary School. In the bronze game, Midkiff Elementary School topped Castro Elementary School.
In the west side division, O’Grady Elementary School too the championship. Leal Elementary School was second. Third place went to Escobar/Rios Elementary School, followed by Pearson Elementary School.
