Mission, Texas- Members of the Mission High School (MHS) FFA Chapter have been taking advantage of area resources and hitting the road in preparation for upcoming competitions. The recently spent a weekend learning about agricultural careers and agribusiness in the state.
One group of students traveled to Texas A&M University to gain experience through a livestock judging workshop. Another group of students visited the El Salinas Ranch in Starr County to learn about the local cattle industry and wind energy as a part of their competition prep.
