MHS choir earns sweepstakes at UIL event

 

            Mission, Texas- The Mission High School (MHS) varsity choir recently competed in the Region 15 UIL concert and sight-reading contest and brought home the top prize. The 32-voice chorale competed in the 6A Division and received a First Division (superior) rating in both the concert and sight-reading performances, earning the coveted Sweepstakes trophy.

            The students involved in the varsity choir don’t meet together as a class. They come in before the school day for rehearsals leading into the competition.
