MHS student accepted into health related ambassador program

            Mission, Texas- Mission High School (MHS) Jaden De Leon has been accepted into the Healthy South Texas Youth Ambassador Program. This program is affiliated with the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. De Leon will serve as a health and nutrition advocate and community health and wellness spokesperson. Beginning this fall, he will participate in events like health fairs, speaking to groups, and volunteering with the County Extension Agent programs. This program also gives him the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the community and to practice public presentation related skills.
