As Mission CISD continues to build upon successful robotics programs, some elementary and junior high teachers have been receiving some training of their own this week. Robotics programs were offered in our elementary schools for the first time this past school year. With the additional training provided for the elementary and junior high teachers now, they will be better prepared to lead their students in the classrooms. Junior High and high school robotics programs have had students succeed at both the state and national level the last several years.
Training this week has included a better understanding of the robotics kits used in the schools, programming, and teamwork on robotics projects.
