Monday, August 22 is the official first day of school for the 2016-2017 school year. As you prepare for the first day of school, be sure to give yourself extra time in arriving at school. The first few days of school usually result in much more traffic in areas around all schools. This usually starts to level off after the first week or so and a routine develops.
The school day for elementary students this school year will start at 7:45 a.m. and end at 3:15 p.m. The school day for junior high school students will start at 8:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. The school day for high school students will start at 8:15 a.m. and end at 4:15 p.m.
