As part of the district wellness programs, Mission CISD employees are encouraged to set an example for students in making healthy choices, etc. Almost half of the district’s employees officially participated in a recent 3 Week Healthy Habits Wellness Challenge. Awards are based on the highest overall participation in 2 categories: Campus and Departments.
The campus winner for the challenge with the overall participation was R. Cantu Jr. High School. Earning honorable mentions are: Mission Collegiate High School and Cantu Elementary School.
Among the district departments, the Maintenance Department earned the top spot. The Central Kitchen and the Fixed Assets-Warehouse earned honorable mentions.
