Veterans Memorial High School (VMHS) marked the first day of the National Letter of Intent signing period for students with one of their own students. VMHS senior and baseball standout, Noel Vela signed his official letter of intent with a Division 1 university. Vela signed with UTRGV and will be a member of the Vaqueros baseball team after he graduates from VMHS this school year.
