Lifesaving lessons during vacation

Members of the Junior Officers organization at Alton Memorial Jr. High School spent part of their Thanksgiving Break learning how to save lives. The students attended a special CPR/First Aid training on day during the break. They felt it was important to be ready to help others if the need arose.

The Junior Officers not only help out with campus events, but are also very active with community service activities that include: fundraising for cancer survivors, visiting children’s hospitals, campus recycling, providing meals for less fortunate families, etc.
