Mission CISD is hosting its first History Fair and you’re invited! Join us Saturday, Dec. 17, from 8 a.m. to noon. Enjoy research, products, and presentations by students from 1st through 12th grade.
Students in grade 6-12, are also taking part in National History Day. Students choose a historical topic related to the annual theme and conduct primary and secondary research. This year’s theme is “Taking a Stand.” Students proceed to the Regional National History Day at The University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley in February, then the Texas History Day at The University of Texas at Austin in April.
The History Fair will be held at the Mission Historical Museum, 900 Doherty Ave. in Mission.
