On December 12, K. White Junior High School held its first, of what is to be an annual, Ornament Decorating Party for staff and their children. Kids chose a painting or ornament to decorate while watching a Christmas movie.
Principal Brenda Betancourt says the event helps the school come together as more than a team, but as a family.
“We are creating new traditions and developing bonds that will make our campus stronger and more united,” she said. “This shows that we are truly a family and these are our future Hawks, [so] we have to take care of them.”
