Mission CISD is working on improving upon resources to help parents. Elementary School based home/school/community liaisons, district administrators, and parents from each of our elementary schools are participating in special trainings. The goal is to create teams of trainers at each school that can provide meaningful workshops to parents on a variety of topics to help parents address the needs of their children. The Parenting Partners training is being provided through a state Pre-K grant. District officials plan to expand upon this training, in the future, to include junior high schools and high schools.
