It was the Mission Collegiate High School (MCHS) version of the “prize patrol.” Each Mission CISD junior high school was visited by administrators from MCHS with a stack of envelopes for select eighth grade students. Inside those envelopes were acceptance letters to attend MCHS.
Students must apply to attend the early college high school and selections are based on a number of criteria with a primary focus on serving students who would be first-generation college going students.
