MHS FFA Hosts First Annual Jose “Joe” Correa Belt Buckle Round-Up Show

Mission High School FFA Alumni in conjunction with our Mission HS FFA teachers and students hosted the 1st Annual Jose “Joe” Correa Belt Buckle Round-Up Prospect Show at the MCISD Ag Farm on Saturday, January 13, 2018. The show allowed students across the Rio Grande Valley to compete in Showmanship and Breed with lambs and goats.  The show also recognized the Cutest Cowgirl and Cowboy.

The most anticipated level of competition was in the Pee Wee division, which allowed amateur/naïve kids ages 1-8 years old to show a lamb and goat.  This event culminated a well organized, much complimented, 24-buckle awarded, A&B rings, RTC cup awarded, overall Champion and Reserve Champion banner in each breed event to display the Ag facilities and show rivaling shows across the valley.  Congratulations to our Alumni Parents and Mission FFA Chapter.
