Bryan Elementary students uniquely inspire fellow classmates

Bryan Elementary students set out to do something a little different to inspire fellow classmates by writing positive messages on rocks and creating their very own Rock Pathway. They used Linda Kranz’s book Only One You as their guide in providing positivity not only to their classmates but to all the people that visit their campus.

In Kranz’s book she states that, there is only one you in this great big world so we must make it a better place. The main character in the book is Adri who listens to his parents which provide him with words of wisdom they have gained throughout the years. Their words are simple and powerful which are meant to comfort and guide him as he goes about exploring the world.

This beautifully illustrated book explodes with color and honest cleverness. Kranz's uniquely painted rockfish, set against vibrant blue seas, makes an unforgettable impression. Only One You will inspire not only parents but also children of all ages as they swim through the sea of life.

The students really loved this activity but what they enjoyed the most was reading the special and inspiring messages. Each of the students has left behind a path of kindness and love which coincides with the school’s annual theme “Choose Kindness.”

A special thank you to CAPA for donating the rocks that students used and to Garza and Son’s Trucking for delivering them.
