Mission, Texas- Ticket sales for the Veteran Memorial High School (VMHS) State Quarter Final football playoff game will begin on Tuesday, December 4. Tickets can be purchased at the Mission CISD Athletics Department ticket window located at the Central Office Building, 1201 Bryce Drive, Mission.
Tickets sales on Tuesday and Thursday will be 8:00 a.m.-Noon and 1:00-4:45 p.m. On Wednesday, tickets sales will take place 7:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. On Friday, tickets will be sold 8:00 a.m.-noon and 1:00-3:00 p.m. Presale tickets will cost $8 for students and $12 for adults. Tickets at the gate on Saturday will be $14.
The VMHS Patriots will take on San Antonio Wagner High School in the fourth round of the state playoffs on Saturday, December 8. Kick-off will be at 10:00 a.m. at the Alamodome in San Antonio. Fans planning to make the trip should also know that the Alamodome charges $15 for parking.
This game marks the first time in VMHS history that a football team has made it this far into the state playoffs. VMHS is also the only Rio Grande Valley football program still in the playoffs.
There will be a community pep rally for the Patriots football team on Thursday, December 6, at 6:00 p.m. in the VMHS Gym.
