MHS students’ artwork selected for publication

            Mission, Texas- The artistic talents of 30 Mission High School (MHS) students will be featured in an upcoming publication called Celebrating Art. This is the most every accepted from the campus. The students entered creative pieces into a contest through the publication for judging. Celebrating Art indicates that only 25% of submissions are accepted to be published. Those selected pieces are then published in an anthology that includes their work.

            The students who have artwork selected by Celebrating Art are: Jessenia Cantu, Victoria Espinoza, Carmen Brasher, Gabriel Rodriguez, Armando Garza, Arieana Bourbois, Axel Hernandez, Santos Rios, Weldon Jerrells, Itzel Hernandez, Ivanna Vargas, Gissel Lopez, Aleksander Gomez, George Medina, Jose Escobedo, Timothy Chapman, Rianna Torres, Kaitlin Munoz, Jovanna Pacheco, Alessandro Perez, Amy Ledezma, Victor Esparza, Alan Miranda, Eros Cantu, Ami Sanchez, Richard Guzman, MiaJolie Resendez, Lexia Resendez, Raul Ramirez.

            Teacher, Marisol Karam is also going to be recognized by the publisher for the number of students whose artwork is being accepted.
