Mission, Texas- Veterans Memorial High School (VMHS) student athlete, Leo Cantu has signed a letter of intent, accepting a track and field scholarship to Neosho College in Chanute, Kansas. Cantu has been a multi-sport athlete during his time at VMHS, but track and field has been where he really shines.
Neosho head coach, Noe Hernandez traveled to Mission to sign Cantu personally. Hernandez is a 2007 graduate of Mission High School (MHS). While in Mission, Hernandez has also taken time to speak with students at MHS and VMHS.
