Mission, Texas- The Veterans Memorial High School (VMHS) Mariachi Toros de Plata recently competed at the 2019 State Texas Association of Mariachi Educators (TAME) Mariachi Finals. While the group may not have won the top prize, they did earn a Division 1 rating and were ranked ninth in this statewide competition, making VMHS home to one of the top 10 mariachis in the state.
