TSPRA honors Craig Verley with Award

Mission CISD Director of Public Relations and Marketing, Mr. Craig Verley, receives the Professional Achievement Award from the Texas School Public Relations Association. He has been working in this field for over 20 years and has exemplified his commitment not only to school public relations but also to public education.

“He is a hard-working, knowledgeable, an articulate individual, that demonstrates a professional work ethic that goes above and beyond,” states Superintendent, Dr. Carol G. Perez. “The Professional Achievement Award is such an honor and we are so proud of his accomplishment.”

 Craig is always on the go working on different projects. He helps individuals feel more comfortable and at ease with his demeanor and humor. He has many responsibilities but makes time when someone needs to speak to him or if they need to bounce an idea off of him.

He continuously looks for new and innovative ways to promote our district through various media outlets.  His award-winning public relations skills and social media ideas have kept our stakeholders well informed throughout our community.

Craig is a seasoned TSPRA veteran and is always willing to help the members in the organization. He has served on different committees and has provided professional development for many individuals. He is undoubtedly an integral member of TSPRA and the Mission CISD family.
