Welcome to Career and Technical Education
Today’s Career & Technical Education (CTE) program has evolved from a limited number of vocational programs in recent history into a broad range of programs aimed at meeting the needs of a high-tech society and global economy.
Mission CISD’s Career & Technical Education program offers students a variety of training-based programs to prepare for college and/or the workforce. Students can select courses in 27 Programs of Study available within 14 Clusters. We strongly believe that this variety maximizes our students’ opportunities to select courses that are of interest to them and help provide the foundation for their future studies. Mission CISD offers 29 Articulated and 22 Dual Enrollment courses. Our CTE program also provides our students the opportunity to participate in our Career & Technical Student Organizations which build leadership skills and helps prepare students for future success, whether it is in the workplace or in advanced college/university coursework.
